The Municipality of Kincardine and community partners have helped residents displaced by the fire at 915 Huron Terrace secure temporary accommodations and essential supports. Community members can contribute through monetary and clothing donations.

The Municipality of Kincardine has opened the Davidson Centre as an evacuation and reception centre following a fire in Kincardine. Huron Terrace has reopened, and residents are asked to wait for further information before offering assistance.

Queen Street will be closed from Durham Street to Lambton Street tomorrow, October 10th, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for the October Food Fest. 

Huron Terrace is temporarily closed between Durham Street and Broadway Street in Kincardine due to an emergency. Please avoid the area and use an alternate route.

The 21-day lagoon aeration trial is complete. DO levels improved from approximately 0.20 mg/L to generally 0.50–0.60 mg/L, while laboratory results provided new information about treatment performance and BOD loading.
