Lagoon Sludge Project Updates

After seven days of operation, dissolved oxygen levels have increased from approximately 0.20 mg/L to 0.30 mg/L. Staff are collecting samples for laboratory analysis to assess treatment performance and BOD reduction. Read the full news item for more information. 

Staff continue to monitor lagoon conditions following the start of the aeration system trial. Odours have improved, air quality monitoring has identified no ongoing concerns, and additional sampling will begin next week to assess treatment effectiveness.
