Wasp removal work is taking place at Victoria Park today. Residents and visitors are asked to avoid the park while a contractor treats two wasp nests ahead of the Gathering of the Bands event.
Due to significant rainfall and current conditions, all Municipality of Kincardine baseball diamonds are CLOSED for the remainder of today, Monday August 24, 2026. All user groups have been notified. Thank you for your understanding.
The Municipality of Kincardine will conduct herbicide applications to control invasive Phragmites between September 8 and 18, 2026, weather permitting. Treatment may occur in shoreline areas, roadside ditches and select municipal properties. Residents and visitors are asked to avoid treated areas while spraying is underway and immediately afterward.
Sections of Bruce Avenue and Penetangore Row will be closed for construction starting Monday, August 10 at 7:30 a.m.
Westbound traffic on Concession Road 2 at Albert Road will be closed from August 10–14, 2026, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily due to construction. Motorists should plan an alternate route.
Repairs to Munro Bridge, located on Northline between Highway 21 and Sideroad 10, will begin in mid-August 2026.
Starting Tuesday, August 4, 2026, Concession 8 will be closed between Highway 21 and Sideroad J & I from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
