The intersection at side road 20 and Concession 7 will be unpassable until 5:00 p.m. today, Wednesday June 10, 2026, for culvert replacement. Please choose a different route for travel during this time. Thank you for your cooperation.
There will be a brief road closure on Russell Street between Olde Victoria Street and McGaw Drive on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
The Municipality of Kincardine is advising residents that road improvement work is underway on Concession Road 7 between Sideroad 15 and County Road 1. The project includes road pulverization, tree removal within the road allowance where required, ditching improvements, and culvert replacements in preparation for future paving. Work is anticipated to continue through October 2026.
Concession Road 7 between Sideroad 15 and Sideroad 20 will be closed on Tuesday, May 19 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sideroad 15 is reopening between the Northline and Highway 9 on Thursday, April 30, 2026 after being closed due to flooding. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
On Wednesday, April 29, 2026 Victoria Street will be closed between Bruce Road 15 and 129 Victoria Street for a waterline replacement.
On Wednesday, April 22, there will be a road closure on Broadway Street between James Street and Charles Street from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Half-load restrictions are in effect in the Municipality of Kincardine from March 1 to April 30 to protect roads during the spring thaw. Vehicles are limited to 5 tonnes per axle on posted municipal roads, with enforcement in place.
The Tiverton Sports Centre is closed on December 31, 2025 due to the Highway 21 weather-related closure, cancelling the Council New Year’s Skate, with the arena expected to reopen on January 2 for Silver Stick activities.
Due to Silver Stick tournament scheduling there are program cancellations on Friday, January 2nd.
