Harbour Street will be closed between Queen Street and Huron Terrace on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 3 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. for the Harvest Dinner.

The Municipality of Kincardine will recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30 with a Survivors’ Flag raising, community displays, educational resources and local opportunities to learn and reflect. Residents are invited to participate in the Walk for Wenjack, wear orange on September 30, and explore resources supporting the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

Queen Street will be closed between Durham Market North and Durham Street on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Fall Harvest Market on Queen.

Dissolved oxygen levels remain low on day ten of the aeration trial, while odours have improved significantly following the sodium nitrate application. Nominations for the 2026 Afro Caribbean Youth Awards close September 20. Community members are encouraged to nominate a youth in Grey or Bruce County and register to attend the awards ceremony on October 24.

A watermain break at Highland Drive and McLeod Avenue has temporarily interrupted water service on McLeod Avenue and to two homes on Highland Drive near the intersection. Repairs are expected to be completed by approximately 4:00 p.m. today.
