The Municipality of Kincardine Council Meeting was held in Council Chambers at 1475 Concession 5, RR #5 Kincardine at 5 p.m.
KINCARDINE, ON – An initiative that began with asking individuals to “pipe-up” about parks and recreation in the Municipality of Kincardine came full circle at last night’s council meeting with the receiving of a new Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan. Consultations, with the guidance of McQueen Galloway Associates (MGA), began in the summer of 2023.
The Easter holiday is ahead of us with Good Friday on March 29th and Easter Monday on April 1st. These dates will both affect some Municipal services.
The 2024 Tree Sale opens online using our Activenet system at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 at 7 a.m.

KINCARDINE, ON – Over a century ago, in the years following his death, the patients and friends of Dr. Solomon Secord chose to put up two monuments in his honour.
Staff presented a draft Bruce Telecom Legacy Fund Policy, which would hold the net proceeds from the sale of Bruce Telecom Holdings Inc. in perpetuity. The Policy provides the framework on how the investments would be managed and how the investment earnings would be utilized.
KINCARDINE, ON – Living along a waterfront has innumerable benefits, but there are also associated hazards. Since 2008, a total of 13 drownings and near-miss incidents have occurred in the waters near the Kincardine piers. A long-standing ban on swimming or jumping from the piers is already in place.
