There has been a watermain break on Inverness St. North in Kincardine this morning, Monday, November 3, 2025.
The third annual Afro Caribbean Youth Awards, celebrated the achievements of Afro Caribbean youth from across Grey and Bruce Counties. Four recipients received Bruce Power Leadership Awards and $1,250 scholarships recognizing their leadership and community impact.
The Municipality of Kincardine will hold a Public Meeting on November 26, 2025, to receive comments on proposed changes to building permit fees. The meeting will take place at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at 1475 Concession 5, Kincardine.
The Municipality of Kincardine has completed a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) to evaluate options for increasing Tiverton’s drinking water supply capacity. The preferred solution will connect Tiverton to the Kincardine system through a new water booster pumping station in Inverhuron.

The Municipality of Kincardine’s Physician Recruitment Program has successfully recruited Dr. Albert Luu, who will join the Kincardine Family Health Organization in September 2026. Dr. Luu will open a new family practice and provide care at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre Kincardine site.

The Municipality of Kincardine has completed major upgrades at the Tiverton Sports Centre, investing nearly $1 million to modernize and extend the life of the arena. Renovations included a new refrigeration plant, upgraded boards and glass, and a universal accessible washroom.
The Municipality of Kincardine will host a Walk for Wenjack led by the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund, honouring the legacy of young Chanie Wenjack who died while trying to return home from residential school. The walk will take place on Saturday, October 18th at 1PM at the south gazebo at Station Beach. Registration is requested.
