Wastewater Lagoon Project Update - June 16, 2026

The Municipality of Kincardine Council Meeting was held in Council Chambers at 1475 Concession 5, RR #5 Kincardine at 5:00 p.m.
Due to a watermain break, a section of Inverness Street South between Golf Links Road and Balemore Street will be closed today, Thursday, April 11th, 2024.
Hydrant and distribution system flushing will take place from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Concession Road 7 between Sideroad 20 and Bervie Sideroad will be closed this evening, Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. as crews clean up a spill.
Users of the Scotts Point Drinking Water System are asked to conserve water on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 between the approximate hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Operators will be hooking up the new well during this time.
KINCARDINE, ON – It was a busy weekend for Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services (KFES) as they responded to two different fire calls over the holiday weekend.
Sideroad 30 between Highway 9 and Southline will be closed today, Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for tree removal and clean-up along the road.
The construction work originally scheduled for this Thursday, April 4th, has been rescheduled to April 9th, 2024, due to forecasted weather conditions.
In October of 2023, the Municipality of Kincardine announced the acceptance of an offer to buy all shares of Bruce Telecom Holdings Inc. (“Bruce Telecom”) from Windsor Private Capital.
At the time of the announcement, the transaction was subject to regulatory approval from Innovation Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) and customary closing conditions.
There will be lane reductions in front of 1182 Queen Street on Thursday, April 4th as construction to install new waterline services is completed. This work is expected to run from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and travelers should be prepared for possible delays.
