Wastewater Lagoon Project Update - June 16, 2026

Bruce Avenue is closed from Highway 21 to Wieck Boulevard from August 21st to August 25th, 2023.
It will be fully closed and impassible to all vehicles during this time as road maintenance is completed.
Kincardine On: The current Water and Wastewater Master Plan Master Plan was adopted by Council in 2018 and since that time there has been residential and non-residential growth, additional development proposals and new and upgraded infrastructure within the systems.
Road Closure: Intersection at Durham Market St South will be closed and impassable beginning Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 and will reopen on Friday, August 4th, 2023 in the afternoon.
There are road closures scheduled for Saturday, July 29th, 2023 for Piping in the Park. These closures will be in effect from 7:45 - 9 p.m.
Durham Market Square South will be closed Wednesday, July 26th, from approximately 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. while tie-ins for water are made as part of the Downtown Dig Kincardine.
Concession 6 will be closed between Sideroad 20 and Sideroad 25 for culvert replacement Tuesday, July 25th, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There are road closures scheduled for Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 for Piping in the Park. These closures will be in effect from 7:45 - 9 p.m.
Pavement crack sealing is set to begin on Friday, July 21st with completion by Wednesday, July 26th, if the weather cooperates.
There are no road closures scheduled for this work, but traffic may be reduced to one lane in work areas.
KINCARDINE, ON – Even the weather didn’t dampen the vibe that the Bruce Telecom Lighthouse Blues Festival weaved throughout downtown Kincardine this past weekend. The annual event again treated us to world-class performances, this year scattered across ten stages throughout lakeside downtown Kincardine.
