The following is a summary of major discussion items presented at Council on October 25, 2023.

KINCARDINE, ON – On Saturday, October 21st, 2023, the first Afro Caribbean youth awards were held to recognize and celebrate youth living in Grey and Bruce Counties.

There will be culvert replacement work done on Scott's Point Road on October 24th and 25th, 2023.

Golf Links Road between Glencoe Street and Queen Street will be closed on Monday, October 23, 2023.

There will be lane reductions for the South Line between Sideroad 30 and the Kincardine-Kinloss Boundary on Friday, October 20th and Monday, October 23rd, 2023 as ditch work is completed.

Phase 1 & 2 portions of Queen Street in the Downtown Dig are now open, but the intersection at Queen and Durham Streets will remain closed in Lakeside Downtown Kincardine until November 17th as crews continue construction work in the Phase 3 area.

KINCARDINE, ON – The Municipality of Kincardine and the Kincardine BIA are pleased to announce that much of downtown Kincardine has reopened to vehicular traffic following this years’ Downtown Dig.

Concession 9 between Sideroad 25 (Weber's Sideroad) and Sideroad 30 South will be closed on Monday, October 16th from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is for culvert replacement work.

Bruce Avenue will be closed from Wieck Boulevard to Highway 21 on Thursday, October 12th from 8 to 10 a.m. for maintenance work.

Once again, the forecast isn't looking great for the day, so crews have decided to try again tomorrow, Thursday, October 12th to complete surface paving on Durham, Saugeen, and Lambton Streets.
