The Municipality owns and manages the Lake Huron shoreline within the Municipality of Kincardine which is currently being severely impacted by the invasive species Common Reed (Phragmites australis).

The By-Law to Regulate Native Trees on Private Property comes into effect on September 1, 2024 and is only related to the removal or injuring of native trees.
