Council Highlights - November 27th, 2024

The Municipality of Kincardine Council Meeting was held in Council Chambers at 1475 Concession 5, RR #5 Kincardine at 5:00 p.m.

Highlights from the meeting include:

Davidson Centre Generator Replacement Project Report

Council approved pre-budget 2025 funding for the Davidson Centre generator replacement project in the amount of $600,000 to be funded by the Lifecycle Reserve Fund. The current generator at the Davidson Centre lacks the capacity to operate the entire facility in the event of a power outage.

Pier Safety Report

Council approved keeping both the North and South Piers open year round.

Upcoming Meetings

The next Special Meetings are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 4, 2024 to discuss the Strategic Plan for the Municipality; and 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday December 10, 2024 to discuss the 2025 Municipal Budget. The next Regular Council meeting is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024. These meeting will be held in Council Chambers at the Municipal Administration Centre, 1475 Concession 5, RR #5 Kincardine.
