Wastewater Lagoon Project Update - June 16, 2026

There will be lane reductions for South Line between Sideroads 10 and 15 on Thursday, February 1st, 2024, as construction work is completed. This work is expected to run from approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and travelers should be prepared for possible delays.
On Thursday, January 11th, 2024, from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Albert Road in Inverhuron will be closed from John Street to Alma Street while a new water service is installed.
The four-way stop intersection at Harbour Street and Huron Terrace will be converted back to it's signal stop on Tuesday, December 19th. Work will begin at approximately 7 a.m. and take a few hours.
There will be lane reductions for Sideroad 15 between Highway 9 and the Northline on Monday, December 18, 2023, as ditch work is completed. Work expected to run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A portion of the KIPP Trail near Stoney Island Conservation Area will be closed today as maintenance work is in progress.
Bruce Avenue at the intersection of Goderich Street and Penetangore Row will be closed Thursday, December 7th, 2023.
On Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Golf Links Road between Glencoe Street and Queen Street will be closed for watermain work.
The Kincardine Chamber's Santa Claus Parade will be weaving it's way from Connaught Park to Victoria Park on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023.
Beginning Monday, December 4th, 2023, Bruce Avenue will have closures for watermain construction work.
Since the Downtown Dig has wrapped up for 2023 and Queen Street is now fully open to on-street parking, the temporary parking lot at the corner of Durham and Queen Streets (the former Pierson Motors lot) is now closed.
