Municipality of Kincardine introduces drone technology to support infrastructure planning, emergency management, and municipal operations, including upcoming surveying work on May 20.

Municipality of Kincardine and Bruce Power have signed a four-year agreement that provides $2.2 million to support infrastructure and community readiness planning related to the proposed Bruce C Project. The funding will help assess municipal infrastructure, service delivery, and long-term growth planning to prepare for potential future development.

The MacPherson Park Inclusive Playground project page has been updated with concept illustrations and a short survey to gather final community feedback before construction begins.

The Municipality of Kincardine has appointed Alan Smith as the new Chief Administrative Officer, beginning July 20, 2026. Smith brings more than 20 years of municipal leadership experience and has held senior roles in communities across Ontario and British Columbia. His appointment supports the Municipality’s continued focus on strategic planning, service delivery, and advancing Council priorities.

The first long weekend of the 2026 summer season is ahead of us with the Victoria Day holiday on Monday, May 18th. This holiday will affect some Municipal services.

The Municipality of Kincardine is installing a new Smart Beach Light at Station Beach to help beachgoers better understand changing waterfront conditions. Using real-time data and a simple colour-coded signal system, the Smart Beach Light supports safer decision-making before entering the water.
