MacPherson Park Inclusive Playground - Updated Design and Feedback Survey Now Available

The MacPherson Park Inclusive Playground project page has been updated with new concept illustrations and a short public survey to gather final community feedback.

Using input from earlier engagement sessions, community feedback, the Accessibility Advisory Committee, and project partners, the preferred playground concept has been developed into a detailed design that reflects priorities identified during the planning process.

The updated project page includes a full concept rendering and additional views of the proposed playground layout, highlighting accessible play features, shade elements, and surrounding landscaping. The design remains within the current playground footprint at MacPherson Park, and the lower portion of the park will remain unchanged.

Residents and park users are invited to review the updated design and complete a short survey. Feedback will help the project team fine tune the design before it is finalized for construction, which is currently scheduled to begin in September. The survey includes questions related to the overall layout, shade options, and surrounding park features.
