    The Swajan Samanvay Sanatan Centre (SSSC), in partnership with Bruce Power, invites residents and visitors to the Fifth Annual Hindu Culture Open House on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Victoria Park in Kincardine. This free community event celebrates culture, inclusion, and connection through traditional Indian cuisine, music, dance, yoga, interactive exhibits, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to learn about Hindu traditions. Everyone is welcome.

  • Media Release - July 17, 2026 - Municipality of Kincardine Welcomes New Chief Administrative Officer

    The Municipality of Kincardine is pleased to welcome Alan Smith as its new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), beginning July 20, 2026. With more than 20 years of municipal leadership experience across Ontario and British Columbia, Mr. Smith brings expertise in strategic planning, municipal operations, community engagement, and organizational leadership. The Municipality also recognizes Interim CAO Kimberley Wingrove for her leadership and support during the transition period.

  • Road Closure - Lambton Street - Friday, July 17, 2026

    Lambton Street between Huron Terrace and Saugeen Street will be temporarily closed on Friday, July 17, for the Remembrance Crosswalk Dedication Ceremony

  • Media Release - July 16, 2026 - Municipality of Kincardine residents encouraged to check the Voters’ List

    The Municipality of Kincardine is encouraging residents to verify their voter information before August 12, 2026, to ensure they are included on the Voters' List for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections. Residents can confirm, update, or add their information online through RegisterToVoteON.ca. The Municipality also reminds residents to watch for official voter information notices by mail or email and provides information on voter eligibility and where to get assistance.

  • Road Closure - Queen Street - Beginning Thursday, July 16, 2026

    Beginning Thursday, July 16, there will be a lane reduction along Queen Street between Broadway Street and Durham Market Street South while sharrows are being painted.
