The Municipality of Kincardine is beginning the Station Beach Boardwalk Improvements Project this winter, enhancing safety, accessibility, and dune protection along one of the community’s most popular waterfront areas.

Ontario’s new producer-led Blue Box program begins January 1, 2026. Residential recycling in Kincardine will continue on the same schedule, with an expanded list of accepted materials. Public recycling depots will close December 31, 2025, and non-eligible IC&I users will shift to drop-off recycling at the Armow Waste Management Centre with dedicated extended hours and tipping fee.
The Municipality of Kincardine has released Mayor Kenneth Craig’s proposed 2026 Municipal Budget, featuring a 3% tax rate increase for asset management and a total proposed levy increase of 6.39%. The draft budget is now available online for public and Council review ahead of the Special Meeting on December 10, 2025.

The Municipality of Kincardine has appointed Kimberly Wingrove as interim Chief Administrative Officer beginning November 26, 2025, following the resignation of Jillene Bellchamber-Glazier. Wingrove brings two decades of public-sector leadership experience, most recently as CAO of Grey County.
There has been a watermain break near Memorial Park and Rae Street in Tiverton on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Water service in the area has been temporarily shut off.
J1 Sideroad from Concession 12 to Bruce Saugeen Townline Road will be closed for culvert replacement. The road will be impassable.
