Proposals must be submitted using the appropriate Municipality of Kincardine "Request for Tenders" Package Documents for all items.

A digital copy of the RFT document may be obtained by registering with the office of the undersigned as of Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

Proposals are to be submitted electronically by e-mail to the tenders platform. Submissions must reference the RFP name and number in the subject line. Upon submission, a generated message will act as confirmation of receipt of tender.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a digital bid bond in an electronically verifiable and enforceable (e-Bond) format from their surety company in the amount of 10% of the Bidder’s Total Bid Price. A scanned copy of a non-digital bond is not acceptable.

Description:

The Municipality of Kincardine is seeking proposals from qualified proponents for the construction of a new in-line booster pump station, watermain extension, connection chamber, standby generator, and associated electrical, mechanical, controls, structural, and site works required to complete upgrades to the municipal water distribution system.

The work includes approximately:
  • A new in-line booster pump station (BPS) located near the northeast corner of Bruce Road 23 and Concession Road 5 including connections to the existing distribution system along Bruce Road 23.
  • A new approximately 1.2 km long extension of the 300 mm diameter watermain at Alma Street and Albert Road, extending along Albert Road to Concession Road 2, terminating at a chamber located at Tie Road and Concession Road 2.
  • New pre-cast connection chamber complete with piping, valving, controls and communication, and other appurtenances.
  • New water service and fiber optic connection (from the new connection chamber) to the BEC lagoon site.
  • One diesel fuel standby generator to be located outdoors in a sound attenuation enclosure at the BPS site.
  • Together with all other required electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and controls, structural and site works including restoration required to construct a complete water distribution system operating as intended and as per the design contained in the Specifications and Contract Drawings.
