Recurring Road Closures - Summer 2026

There is no shortage of things to see and do in The Municipality of Kincardine this summer. As we gather for community favourites like Cruise Nights and the Saturday Night Pipe Band Parade, a number of recurring road closures will be in place to support these events and help keep participants and spectators safe.

Cruise Nights

The following road closures will be in effect from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on:

• June 26, 2026
• July 31, 2026
• September 4, 2026

Affected roads include:

• Queen Street from southwest of Broadway Street to northeast of Durham Market Square South
• Durham Market Square North from Queen Street to Princes Street
• Harbour Street from Queen Street to Huron Terrace
• Lambton Street from Princes Street to Huron Terrace
• Durham Street from Princes Street to Huron Terrace

During Cruise Night road closures, access will be limited to emergency vehicles only.

Saturday Night Pipe Band Parade

Queen Street between Durham Market Square North and Quinn's Plaza will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the following Saturdays:

• June 27, 2026
• July 11, 2026
• July 18, 2026
• July 25, 2026
• August 1, 2026
• August 8, 2026
• August 15, 2026
• August 22, 2026
• August 29, 2026
• September 5, 2026

Please note that the July 4 Pipe Band Parade will follow an alternate route due to the Kincardine Scottish Festival. A separate notice will be issued with route details.

During Pipe Band road closures, access will be limited to pedestrians and emergency vehicles only.

Queen Street Market

Queen Street between Durham Market Street North and Durham Street will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the following dates:

• July 6, 2026
• August 10, 2026
• August 31, 2026

During Queen Street Market road closures, access will be limited to pedestrians and emergency vehicles only.
