Please Avoid Victoria Park During Wasp Removal - Friday, August 28, 2026

The Municipality of Kincardine is asking residents and visitors to avoid Victoria Park while wasp removal work is underway today, Friday August 28th.

A contractor will be treating two wasp nests in the park:

• One large nest located in a tree.
• One nest located underneath the gazebo.

Please avoid entering Victoria Park while the work is underway and follow any directions or temporary barriers in place.

The wasp removal is being completed ahead of the upcoming Gathering of the Bands event.

The Municipality thanks residents and visitors for their cooperation while this work is completed.
