Notice of Passing of an Amending Development Charges By-law by the Municipality of Kincardine
NOTICE OF PASSING OF AN AMENDING DEVELOPMENT CHARGES BY-LAW BY THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Municipality of Kincardine passed an amending Development Charges By-law No. 2026-069 on the 10th day of June 2026, under Section 2 of the Development Charges Act, 1997 (the Act).
AND TAKE NOTICE that the by-law is not appealable to the Ontario Land tribunal based on Section 19 (1.1) of the Act. The schedule of development charges in the Municipality is not changed by the amending by-law.
The amending by-law provides for changes to the existing By-law 2021-114 – which repealed the expiry date to extend the life of the by-law by 5 years, with a new expiry date of July 2, 2031, unless it is extended by statute, regulation or By-law, or repealed at an earlier date.
The Municipality’s current development charges schedule remains in effect and can be found on the Municipality’s website at https://www.kincardine.ca/big/development-planning-and-zoning/development-charges/.
No key map is provided as the amending by-law applies to all lands located in the Municipality of Kincardine. Copies of the Development Charges By-law are available for examination during regular business hours (weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) in the offices of the Municipality located at 1475 Concession 5, RR5 Kincardine, ON N2Z 2X6 and on the Municipality’s website.
