KINCARDINE, ON –  The Municipality of Kincardine is inviting residents, visitors, and businesses to help shape the future of tourism by providing input into the development of a new Tourism Strategy.

Tourism plays an important role in the Municipality of Kincardine’s economy, supporting local businesses, creating jobs, and contributing to the vibrancy of communities across the municipality. Did you know that over 16.5 million in wages, over 85 million in sales and over 800 jobs are supported by businesses with the Municipality of Kincardine’s tourism sector.

The Municipality in partnership with the Regional Tourism Organization 7 will be engaging with residents, visitors, businesses, special event organizers and community stakeholders over the coming months to gather feedback and identify priorities for the future.

We want to hear what makes the Municipality of Kincardine special, what opportunities exist for improvement, and how we can continue to build a strong and sustainable tourism sector for the future.

You can complete a survey online or pick up a paper copy of the survey at the Municipal Administration Centre or the Welcome Centre which is located at 707 Queen Street in Kincardine. 

As a thank you for participating, every survey respondent will receive one complimentary admission to either the Kincardine Lighthouse or the Walker House Museum.
