Highlights from the meeting include:
Bluewater Trailer Park Report
This Report responds to Council’s direction provided at the July 22, 2026, Council Meeting by releasing the legal opinion regarding the Bluewater Trailer Park / MacPherson Park. The legal opinion formed part of the rationale for Council’s decision to require tenants to transition out of Bluewater Trailer Park by October 31, 2027. Releasing this information supports transparent decision-making by giving residents, tenants, and other interested parties access to the legal and property-related considerations. Council directed staff to make the legal opinion and associated documentation available to the public through the Municipality’s website and social media channels. Further, Council directed staff to include the retention of a Landscape Architect to prepare a design plan for the Bluewater Trailer Park lands, for consideration in the Mayor’s 2027 Budget.
Conveyance of a Portion of 543 Bervie Road By-law
Pursuant to CAO Report 2026-04, Council directed a By-law be brought forward to create a separate parcel of land enabling the purchase and sale of a portion of 543 Bervie Sideroad.
