Highlights from the meeting include:

Proposed Mapping Bruce County Official Plan

On October 9th, 2024 Council received a presentation highlighting the proposed updates to the County Official Plan. Council endorsed the recommended changes to the Official Plan except for #22 Kincardine: North of Northline Extension and #23: Kincardine: East of Highway 9 and Highway 21. Update Draft Comprehensive Zoning By-law

At the January 22, 2025, meeting the draft Updated Comprehensive Zoning Bylaw will be presented to Council along with a recommendation for additional public consultation and an additional Public Meeting. Dog Control By-law Report

Council passed a new modernized Dog Control By-law that provides greater clarity and guidance for Council, the public and staff. The by-law maintains the basic principles of the existing by-law & it’s amendments and has been updated to include more guidance on impoundment of dogs, dangerous dogs, kennels, and enforcement.

The next Municipality of Kincardine Council meeting is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2024. This meeting will be held in Council Chambers at the Municipal Administration Centre, 1475 Concession 5, RR #5 Kincardine.
