Canada Day is here again with the festivities beginning on Friday, June 26th! Visit the community events calendar for full details on everything happening in the community.

Friday, June 26th, 2026

Join us in Lakeside Downtown Kincardine from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the first Cruise Night of the season.

Saturday, June 27th, 2026

It’s the Canada Day Kick-off in Tiverton where we’ve got a full day of family fun planned:

  • 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Join us to kickoff Canada Day with family fun, a barbecue hosted by the Tiverton and District Lions Club, food vendors, lawn games, and family activities. We will be joined by fun trucks and vehicles in a touch-a-truck event. You can create your own "drive-in car" and may even win a prize!
  •  7:00 - 10:00 p.m. A family friendly film will be played in the Tiverton Annex, with showtime set for 7 p.m. and the Tiverton and District Lions Club will have concessions available for purchase. Don't forget your lawn chairs and blankets! 

The Kincardine Saturday Night Pipe Band Parade is at 8 p.m. on Queen Street in Kincardine – don’t miss this summer tradition!

Sunday, June 28th, 2026

The first Summer Sing-a-Long for the season in Dunsmoor Park in Kincardine starts at 7:30 p.m. 

Monday, June 29th, 2026

Lakeside Downtown Kincardine’s BIA hosts the Monday Market in the Park at Victoria Park in Kincardine. Visit over 70 amazing vendors offering everything from local eats to artisan goods.

Wednesday, July 1st, 2026

The Canada Day celebrations kick off with the parade at 11 a.m., moving from Victoria Park down Queen Street, then Harbour Street and ending at the flag pole. We’ll then have a ceremony at that location before we start the party in MacPherson and Dunsmoor Parks which includes:

  • Canada Day opening ceremony
  • Family activities, games, and entertainment
  • Barbecue by the Kincardine and District Lions Club
  • A day full of live music including the Weekend Never Ends, Greg Ritchie,  Jocelyn Leidy School of Music, and the Kincardine Community Concert Band.

Canada Day Fireworks begin at dusk from the North Pier in Kincardine. Your best view is at MacPherson Park – bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Rain date is Thursday, July 2nd.

  • Regular curbside waste and recycling collection

What's Closed on July 1st

  • Welcome Centre at 707 Queen Street – visit the pop-up at MacPherson Park!

  • Davidson Centre at 601 Durham Street, Kincardine
  • Tiverton & District Sports Centre at 20 McLaren Street, Tiverton
  • Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services Administration Office at 127 Mahood-Johnston Drive, Kincardine
  • Underwood Satellite Office and Bruce Township Community Centre at 1240 Concession 6, Underwood
  • Kincardine Waste Management Centre at 437 Sideroad 15, Armow
