Wednesday, January 21, 2026- Municipal Service Updates due to Weather

Due to ongoing weather conditions and highway closures, some municipal services are experiencing closures or service changes today, January 21, 2026. Please note the following updates:

The Municipal Administration Centre at 1475 Concession 5, RR #5 is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

The Waste Management Centre (Landfill) at 437 Sideroad 15, Armow is open during regular hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

The Davidson Centre pool remains closed this morning, cancelling 9:30 a.m. Aquafit, 10:30 a.m. Preschool Swim/Lane Swim, and 11:30 a.m. Lane Swim. In addition, the 9:00 a.m. Pilates class is cancelled. The Davidson Centre is open and all other scheduled activities are running at this time. Staff will monitor weather conditions and road closures and provide an update on swimming lessons and evening programs this afternoon. 

Please Note: The Municipality of Kincardine's Significant Weather Event declared Sunday, January 18, 2026, is still active. This declaration isn’t a notice of reduced level of service or a highway closure. It means you need to be careful when travelling on Municipality of Kincardine roadways as it may take longer than usual to maintain or improve road conditions.
