Tuesday, January 20, 2026 - Municipal Facilities Closures and Service Updates

*UPDATE* 8:00 p.m. - Davidson Centre pool will remain closed Wednesday morning, January 21, 2026. The 6:15 a.m. Lane Swim is cancelled. 

*UPDATE* 3:00 p.m. -

Due to ongoing weather conditions and highway closures, some municipal services are experiencing closures or service changes today, January 20, 2026. Please note the following updates:

The Municipal Administration Centre at 1475 Concession 5, RR #5 is closed to the public today from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Most staff are working remotely, residents are encouraged to visit our website or submit inquiries by phone or email. Staff will respond as soon as possible.

The Waste Management Centre (Landfill) at 437 Sideroad 15, Armow is open during regular hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycling (BASWR) collection is proceeding as scheduled today; however, collection crews may be running behind due to weather conditions. Thank you for your patience.

The Davidson Centre remains open with the exception of the pool which is closed. Swimming lessons and all aquatic activities are cancelled for this evening. Make up lessons will take place n March 10, 2026.

The Tiverton Sports Centre is closed for all ice rentals this evening.

Please Note: The Municipality of Kincardine's Significant Weather Event declared Sunday, January 18, 2026, is still active. This declaration isn’t a notice of reduced level of service or a highway closure. It means you need to be careful when travelling on Municipality of Kincardine roadways as it may take longer than usual to maintain or improve road conditions.
