Tuesday, January 20, 2026 - Municipal Facilities Closures and Service Updates

Due to ongoing weather conditions and highway closures, some municipal services are experiencing closures or service changes today, January 20, 2026. Please note the following updates:

The Municipal Administration Centre at 1475 Concession 5, RR #5 is closed to the public today from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Most staff are working remotely, residents are encouraged to visit our website or submit inquiries by phone or email. Staff will respond as soon as possible.

The Waste Management Centre (Landfill) at 437 Sideroad 15, Armow is open during regular hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycling (BASWR) collection is proceeding as scheduled today; however, collection crews may be running behind due to weather conditions. Thank you for your patience.

The Davidson Centre is open for drop-in activities. The Health Club and indoor track are open. The following fitness classes have been cancelled:

• 8:00 a.m. Power Hour Landfit
• 9:15 a.m. Strollerfit

The pool remains closed at this time, resulting in the cancellation of:

• 9:30 a.m. Aquafit
• 10:30 a.m. Preschool Swim / Lane Swim
• 11:30 a.m. Lane Swim

Staff will continue to monitor weather conditions and evaluate the potential reopening of the pool. Updates will be shared through our website and social media channels as needed.

Please Note: The Municipality of Kincardine's Significant Weather Event declared Sunday, January 18, 2026, is still active. This declaration isn’t a notice of reduced level of service or a highway closure. It means you need to be careful when travelling on Municipality of Kincardine roadways as it may take longer than usual to maintain or improve road conditions.
