*UPDATE* 2:15 p.m. - The Davidson Centre pool will remain closed Thursday afternoon, January 22, 2026. Tonight's swimming lessons will be cancelled.

Archery is cancelled. 

Drop in activities and volleyball are still running and the Davidson Centre remains open. 

The Tiverton Sports Centre is closed this evening, Thursday, January 22, 2026.


Due to ongoing weather conditions, some municipal services are experiencing closures or service changes today, Thursday, January 22, 2026. Please note the following updates:

The Municipal Administration Centre at 1475 Concession 5, RR #5 is closed to the public today from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. due to emergency HVAC repairs. Municipal staff are working remotely and remain available by phone and email. Residents are encouraged to visit the municipal website or submit inquiries electronically, and staff will respond as soon as possible.

The Davidson Centre pool is closed this morning. As a result, the following aquatic programs are cancelled:

  • 9:30 a.m. Aquafit
  • 10:30 a.m. Preschool swim / Lane swim
  • 11:30 a.m. Lane swim

An update regarding this evening’s swim lessons and aquatic programs will be provided later this afternoon. All other scheduled activities at the Davidson Centre are running as scheduled at this time.

The Waste Management Centre (Landfill) at 437 Sideroad 15, Armow is open during regular hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycling (BASWR) collection is proceeding as scheduled today; however, collection crews may be running behind due to weather conditions. Thank you for your patience.

Please note: The Municipality of Kincardine’s Significant Weather Event, declared on Sunday, January 18, 2026, remains in effect. This declaration is not a notice of reduced service levels or road closures; however, it means residents should use caution when travelling, as it may take longer than usual to maintain or improve road conditions.
