Road Updates - February 14, 2025- 1 p.m.

Crews continue to work on winter clean-up due to heavy drifting throughout the Municipality of Kincardine on Friday, February 14th, 2025. As of 1 p.m.: 

🟢 Sunset Drive north of Concession 12 is now open.

🟢 Richardson Road south of Bruce Saugeen Townline is now open.

⛔ Sideroad 5S between Southline and the Huron-Kincardine West Boundary remains closed until further notice.

The Ontario Provincial Police - West Region are reporting that:
⛔ Highway 21 from Amberley to Tiverton is closed

Even when roads reopen, please use caution when travelling. If you do choose to head out onto the roads, NEVER drive on a closed road and please: 
➡️ for road conditions and other traveler information, visit ontario.ca/511 or call 5-1-1. Never call 9-1-1 for road conditions or closures.
➡️ be patient and give plow operators room to do their work
➡️ turn on your vehicle's lighting system - auto lights don't turn on your rear lights, so you need to actually turn them on to help your vehicle to be seen from behind
➡️ keep your vehicle cleared of snow, especially the headlights and taillights
➡️ keep your speed down - if you see snow, go slow
