Family Day Facility Closure Notice - February 16, 2026

The Family Day holiday is this Monday, February 16th, 2026. There’s going to be tons of fun at Tiverton’s Winterfest and there are some Municipal services that will be affected by the holiday:

What’s Open on February 16th

• The Davidson Centre at 601 Durham Street in Kincardine is open with special Family Day programming:
• 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Health Club open for members
• 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Walking Track open to public
• 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Public Skating sponsored by Kincardine Quick Lube
• 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Public Swim sponsored by Kincardine Quick Lube
• 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drop-In Gym sponsored by Framatome
• Regular curbside waste collection

What’s Closed on February 16th

• Municipal Administration Centre at 1475 Concession 5, Kincardine
• Tiverton and District Sports Centre at 20 McLaren Street, Tiverton
• Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services Administration Office
  at 127 Mahood-Johnston Drive, Kincardine
• Underwood Satellite Office and Bruce Township Community Centre
  at 1240 Concession 6, Underwood
• Kincardine Waste Management Centre at 437 Sideroad 15, Armow

Winterfest in Tiverton

The annual family favourite event is on Saturday February 14th and Sunday, February 15th, which includes a snow sculpture contest, spaghetti dinner, euchre tournament, chili luncheon, family skating, horse drawn wagon rides and so much more!
