Fall Yard Waste Depots Open October 10th
The Municipality of Kincardine’s Fall Yard Waste Depots open on Friday, October 10, 2025 and will remain open until Monday, November 10, 2025.
Residents are asked to place all yard waste in brown paper leaf bags and ensure that bags are placed inside the bins. For everyone’s convenience, bins will be switched out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If you arrive and the bin is full, please wait until it has been emptied before dropping off your yard waste. Yard waste may also be taken year-round to the Kincardine Waste Management Centre, free of charge.
Depot Locations:
- Kincardine Fall Yard Waste Depot – 520 Bruce Avenue (3 bins available)
- Tiverton Fall Yard Waste Depot – McLaren Street, behind the arena (1 bin available)

Things to Know
- Always use brown paper leaf bags.
- Walk your bags into the back of the bin first, working forward.
- Make sure the doors can close without the need for machinery to push waste inside.
- Never leave yard waste outside the bins or blocking the doors.
- If a bin is full, please wait until it has been emptied before adding your waste.
By following these steps, you’re helping ensure the depots operate as smoothly as possible.
