Highlights from the meeting include:

Kincardine Klassics Gymnastics Club Report

Council directed staff to enter into negotiations with the Kincardine Klassics Gymnastics Club for the purpose of leasing them the main hall, office and storage area at Connaught Park, as the previous Agreement expired December 31, 2025. Staff proposed a new 10-year agreement with the Kincardine Klassics Gymnastics Club. Council deferred the decision on the Lease Agreement for 60 days.

Proposed 2-Tier Model for Short-term Rental Accommodations Report

Council supported the Short-Term Rental Accommodation Licensing By-law based on a two-tier, intensity-based regulatory framework. The proposed framework distinguishes between low-intensity and higher-intensity short-term rental use. The By-law will be presented to Council on February 25th, 2026 for consideration.

2026 Trillium Foundation Capital Grant Application Report

Council supported an application to the Ontario Trillium Foundation Capital Grant stream for the transition of the existing skatepark into a multi-use court at the Davidson Centre. The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) Capital Grant funds initiatives to improve community facilities and physical spaces.
