Council Highlights - December 3, 2025

The Municipality of Kincardine Council Meeting was held in Council Chambers at 1475 Concession 5, RR #5 Kincardine at 5:00 p.m.

Highlights from the meeting include:

Small Meadows - 440 Kincardine Ave.

That Council approved the  Zoning By-law Amendment – Z-2025-026 by Small Home Communities Inc. and that no further notice is necessary with respect to the minor change in the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment in accordance with the provisions of Section 34(17) of the Planning Act.

2026 Building Rates and Fees – Amending By-law Development Services 2025-28

The Development Services department initiated a Building Rates and Fees study within the 2025 Budget. The study completed by Hemson consultants evaluated all direct and indirect costs associated with the department for the administration and enforcement of the Building Code Act and the Ontario Building Code.

Council approved the 2026 Building Rates and Fees.

543 Bervie Sideroad Agreement of Purchase and Sale By-law

At the November 26, 2025 Closed Session, Council direct staff to accept the offer of Adam Kraemer regarding the disposition of the proposed severed portion of 543 Bervie Sideroad. Council approved the 543 Bervie Sideroad Agreement of Purchase and Sale By-law.

The next Municipality of Kincardine Council Meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. This meeting will be held in Council Chambers at the Municipal Administration Centre, 1475 Concession 5, RR #5 Kincardine.
