Locum opportunities are available on a regular basis. There is a need for locums to cover Clinic or ER for local physicians. Locum placements can be on a short term or long-term basis and schedules are flexible to suit your needs.

The Municipality has provided a beautiful home with private rooms for your use during your stay. This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood within steps to Lake Huron.

Visiting Physicians have access to locum house accommodations. Two homes were generously purchased by The Society of United Professionals in 2014 to support Kincardine Physician recruitment.

The Society of United Professionals is the union of choice for more than 8,000 professionals across Ontario including 1200 local members who perform technical and supervision roles for Bruce Power.

The Hawthorne Community Clinic at 1201 Queen Street, Kincardine, Ontario is a large modern Family Health Organization (FHO) based clinic adjacent to the hospital.

An attractive practice and business opportunity, the FHO is a collaborative of 10 signatory physicians, who practice within our municipally owned medical clinic.

The clinic has 13 doctors’ offices, 26 exam rooms, a procedure room, family health team, and pharmacy on site. High quality patient care is facilitated with the support of fantastic support staff and a state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record system (TELUS EMR).
