The Municipality of Kincardine hosted an afternoon of conversation and community connection during the Kincardine & District Chamber of Commerce Home & Lifestyle Show.

Throughout the afternoon, community members had the opportunity to attend sessions on a variety of topics:
1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Fire Safety & Emergency Planning
Fire Prevention Officer Scott Thomson and Community Emergency Management Coordinator Shane Watson shared information about household fire safety, prevention, and emergency preparedness.
2:00 – 2:30 p.m. Register to Vote
Deputy Clerk Tracey Guy shared information about checking, updating, or adding information to the voters list for municipal and provincial elections.
2:30 – 3:00 p.m. Accessory Dwelling Units
Bruce County Planner Amy Rogers provided information about building an additional dwelling unit on your property.
3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Community Conversation: Tourism in Kincardine
Tourism Coordinator Kirston Zandwyk and Manager of Strategic Initiatives Lorie Fioze led a community conversation about ideas for supporting a vibrant, year-round tourism future in the Municipality of Kincardine.
