The Municipality of Kincardine operates an indoor pool called the Davidson Centre Pool at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine. A variety of recreation swims and registered swim programs are offered throughout the year.

We offer a variety of recreational swim programs, aquafit classes and swimming lessons for all ages. Specialty aquatic programs, including leadership and lifeguarding courses, are also available.

Registration for Fall Swimming Lessons is opening on September 1, 2021 with lessons starting September 27, 2021.

What change room facilities are available?

The pool facility has age appropriate change rooms for 6 years of age or older.

Can I rent the pool?

You can rent the pool for up to 25 people including 2 lifeguards for $140 an hour including tax by emailing the pool.

Does my child need to wear a water diaper in the pool?

Swim diapers are required for those children who are not toilet trained.

Please note that pool fouling results in a pool shutdown of 1 to 12 hours.

Do I need to shower before I enter the pool?

Health Regulations 565/90 states a cleansing shower with soap, from head to toe, must be taken before entering the pool. Please remove your shoes before entering the changeroom, shower area and pool deck.

Does the pool have a lost and found?

Yes, in the family changeroom entrance a lost and found bin is kept. Lost and found items are cleared out monthly.

What is the temperature of the pool?

The pool water temperatures is set at 84 degrees.

How can I register for swimming lessons?

Registration for Fall swimming lessons opens on Wednesday September 1st, 2021. Lessons are once a week starting September 27th. 


There will be lessons offered for Swimmer levels 1 through 10, as well as Parent-and-Tot and Preschool levels A through E. (Preschool A,B, and C are parented).
