Why is there a Volunteer Management Policy?

At their June 12, 2023 Meeting, Council supported and approved of the Volunteer Management Policy.

The need to have a formalized volunteering process stems from certain requirements becoming more stringent, including but not limited to health and safety, liability, and insurance requirements. The adoption of the Policy ensures that the Municipality of Kincardine is compliant in the different aspects.

The Municipality of Kincardine values our volunteers and are thankful for their support throughout the municipality on various tasks.

Should you require further information related to volunteer opportunities or management within the Municipality, please contact the Office of the CAO.
