Get involved! Below you'll find a list of local organizations who provide sport and recreation-based programs in the Municipality of Kincardine area. This is not a complete list, but it includes those who utilize Municipality of Kincardine facilities and is a great place to get started.

Check out your options below and visit our recreation calendar to see what offerings are coming up. We're always offering new options, so some may appear on the calendar before being added below.

Recreation programming coming up:

183 Typhoon Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron

A national program for youth ages 12 to 18, the 183 Typhoon Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron program provides cadets instruction in citizenship, leadership, survival training, instructional techniques, drill and ceremonial and the basics of aviation and aeronautics.

The local training begins in September and continues until June. It is administered by the Canadian Forces (CF) and funded through the Department of National Defence (DND) with additional support from the civilian Air Cadet League of Canada (ACL).

At Last Forest School

At Last Forest Schools brings children closer to nature int he early, primary, and secondary years.

Badminton Club

The Kincardine Badminton Club offers recreational badminton play for adults from September to June. Learn more about this organization on their Facebook page.

Baseball

The Kincardine Minor Baseball Association (KMBA) League in Kincardine, Ontario provides boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 18 an opportunity to play in an organized baseball program. The KMBA program is a part of the Western Ontario Baseball (WOBA) division of Baseball Ontario. Their leagues are safe, fun and instructional. No experience necessary, regardless of whether your child has never played before or if he/she is a seasoned veteran.

The Kincardine Co-ed Slopitch League plays once per week in the summer. Join their Facebook group to get more details.

Basketball

Kincardine POWER Basketball offers skills programs for players ages 4 to 18.

Hit the court with the Shoreline Men's Basketball Kincardine league is open to anyone high school age and up. Connect with them for details by e-mail.

Cards

For beginners and experienced players, the Kincardine Charity Bridge Club is a friendly, volunteer-run ACBL sanctioned bridge club.

There's also frequent opportunities to play Euchre and Shooter - just check out the recreation calendar for times.

Concert Band

A classic concert band, the Kincardine Community Concert Band welcomes musicians of all ages.

Cooking

The Stuckless Healing Co. presents cooking programs hosted by a certified culinary nutrition expert.

Flag Football

Rise Flag Football is the newest, most exciting youth flag football experience for boys and girls ages 5 to 16, powered by Under Armour. 

Kincardine Figure Skating Club

The Kincardine Skating Club is part of the Skate Ontario organization. They're here to help you develop all skating skills, such as Learn to Skate, Canskate, pre-Hockey skills, Power Skating and all levels of figure skating for people of all ages. Their Professional Skate Canada coaches implement Skate Canada’s National standards throughout all of our programs.

Kincardine FIRST LEGO League

Kincardine FIRST® LEGO® League is a group of coaches in Kincardine Ontario that guide multiple teams of students to compete at the FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge level.

FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge introduces younger students (Ages 9-14 yrs) to real-world engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface.

Hockey

Our Kincardine Bulldogs are a Junior C team in the Provincial Junior Hockey League. Come on out to watch some really great hockey, and don't miss their famous annual Bulldog Indoor Beach Volleyball Tournament in the spring, either!

We're also home to the Kincardine Kinucks - Kincardine Minor Hockey Association, a member of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association. They offer players the opportunity to play hockey in a fun, safe, positive, and supportive environment for boys and girls ages 4 to 18.

Dance

HYPE Performing Arts Academy offers dance classes for toddlers to adults.

Karate

The Kincardine Karate Dojo doesn't just focus on self-defense techniques and sparring. We focus on the student as a whole working on strength, coordination, flexibility, focus, discipline, and more.

Kincardine Kippers Swim Team

Make a splash with the Kincardine Kippers swim team! Their swim programs are for kids and teens 18 years and under.

Lawn Bowling

The Kincardine Lawn Bowling Club is welcoming of all skill levels, from the first-time player to those with experience.

Mixed Martial Arts

Huron-Bruce Mixed Martial Arts offers kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu classes for kids, youth, and adults. Get more details on their Facebook page or connect with them by e-mail.

Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario

The Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario is a monthly support group. Connect with the organization by phone at 1-888-851-7376 or by e-mail for more information.

Pickleball

Check the recreation calendar for pickleball play opportunities, or take a group pickleball lesson with certified instructors from Taylored Pickleball Academy.

Scouts

The 2nd Kincardine Scouts is a co-ed youth program for ages 5 to 14. Programming includes indoor and outdoor activities like camping, hiking, STEM projects, environmental initiatives, and more.

Snooker

Get ready to rack 'em up with senior snooker in the Kincardine Billiards Room. Check the recreation calendar for timing and frequency.

Soccer

The Kincardine Adult Soccer Association offers an adult co-ed recreational soccer league. Any and all skill levels are welcome.

Kincardine and District Minor Soccer Club also offers house league and competitive soccer for Timbits (U4) to adults as well as hosting various skills development opportunities.

Special Olympics

Special Olympics Kincardine and Area promote sports training and competition opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Participate in a variety of sports including swimming, track, bocce, skating, and more. 

Stamp Club

The Kincardine Stamp Club meets once per month, so if you're a philatelist who'd like to join them, get in touch by e-mail.

Summer Music Festival

The Kincardine Summer Music Festival is a fabulous concert series featuring jazz, blues, classical, folk and Celtic music.

Table Tennis Club

The Kincardine Table Tennis Club is a privately managed club open to the public for drop-in or regular play. Players range in age from teens to seniors with skill levels ranging from beginner to former national-level players.

Tennis Club

Get your membership for the Kincardine Tennis Club so you can hit the courts with them.

Volleyball

Indoor or outdoor, we've got volleyball!

The Kincardine Outdoor Volleyball Association (KOVA) is a beach volleyball program offering a summer league, clinics, and tournaments.

Momentum Volleyball offers youth and adult volleyball programs for athletes of all levels, including camps, technical training, leagues, tournaments and technical clinics.

VON Smart Classes

VON Smart Classes provide a variety of opportunities to learn and get active. They're currently seeking instructors to help facilitate programs, so reach out by e-mail if this is something you may be interested in.
