The Municipality of Kincardine is completing a Waterfront Master Plan to create a vision and framework to provide direction for the future of Kincardine's waterfront parks. Planning has begun as of August 2022.
The Kincardine waterfront comprises a total of 49 km of pristine waterfront. The Waterfront Master Plan will focus on the 1.5 km of waterfront within the Municipality of Kincardine, with focus on Reunion South, Reunion Station, Station Beach, MacPherson Park, and Dunsmoor Park.

Session Three - Final Open House - Tuesday, March 14th, 2023
The pl.ural consultant team and the Municipality of Kincardine hosted a final come and go community open house to present the information gained from your input via surveys and previous community events. It was displayed for review and discussion at Kincardine's Davidson Centre on Tuesday, March 14th.

Session Two
On November 2nd, the Municipality of Kincardine and pl.ural consultant team once again welcomed the community to provide input into the future direction of the waterfront.
The workshop began with a short presentation before breaking into group activities to help us better learn about participant’s values and priorities for the waterfront.

Session One
The Municipality of Kincardine, along with the pl.ural consultant team, hosted the initial “Come and Go” Community Engagement Session at the Davidson Centre on August 25th, 2022 to introduce the Kincardine Waterfront Master Plan to the community. It was very well attended with a variety of information to browse and a survey to fill out. Thank you to those who attended and/or filled out the survey.

How can I get involved? |
There are two community engagement sessions planned during the course of the study. Kincardine residents, local business owners, and the general public are welcomed and encouraged to attend. For those who cannot attend in person, or prefer participating online, there will be surveys provided to share your thoughts and opinions.
