Summer Camp

At the Municipality of Kincardine Summer Day Camp, experience a wide variety of camp activities throughout the whole summer including: crafts, games, swimming and skating. All staff are High Five & First Aid Trained.

The Camper Information package will not be available for the 2020 camp season.  This information will be gathered at the time of registration using the new online registration system.


The parent package has all the information you need for summer camp.


Each camper needs to have a Camper Information form completed (done online when registering or on paper when registering in person) and payment made at the time of registration.

There are only weekly rates, no daily.

Four Day Week (Holiday Monday weeks only): $125.00

Five Day Weeks: $156.00

Family Rate (three or more children per family): Full rate for first two children, $78.00 per additional child.

We do require a 25% non-refundable deposit per camper/ per week


Offsite field trip weeks have additional costs:

Week three: $35 Sleeping Beauty at the Grand bend Playhouse

Week seven: $30 Elm vale Zoo 


50% Cancellation fee will be charged if cancellation notification is not received within 7 days prior to first day of camp week by 4:30pm. For trip weeks, cancellation notice must be received within 2 weeks prior to first day of camp week by 4:30pm. If we do not receive notification 50% cancellation fee plus additional cost of trip will be charged.

NEW for 2020- Post-dated cheques will NOT be accepted.

Full payment must be made at the time of registration online by credit card, or with a payment plan using a credit card.  When creating a payment plan, the remaining payment will be charged to your credit card two weeks prior to the first day of the registered camp week. No exceptions will be made.


Credit Card, Cash and Debit is accepted in person at the Recreation office during office Hours. 


We accept weekly registrations only. If space is available after the start of each week, participants may be registered at a pro-rated rate.

Welcome Week

Whether it is your first time at camp or a long-time returner, we are so excited to welcome you this summer! This week we are going to build friendships and get to know each other with some totally awesome games! We will celebrate Canada Day and bring out old favourites like the slip n slide.

Week Two

Mad Science

Dust off your lab coats and get ready for a science packed week! We will do experiments and explore the world around us in deeper ways! Let’s ask all of the why questions this week and expand our knowledge in a fun way!

Week Three

Offsite Trip


Eureka! Bring your brains and imagination to camp where the sky is the limit. We will be painting, sculpting, printing and using random household objects to construct your portfolio!

Week Four

Crazy Olympics

Lace up your running shoes and grab your water bottle because we have an active week ahead of us! Play classic Olympic sports like soccer, swimming and track & field. This week will also introduce campers to the lesser know events like seated volleyball, handball, boccia and more!

Week Five

Disney Daze

Make your way to 42 Wallaby Way as campers explore the best of Pixar and Disney! We're not clownfishing around...we will bake Squirt Turtle cupcakes and take part in our scarer of the day contest. Campers will be encouraged to sing along to Disney classics and dress up as their favourite Disney character.

Do you have a favourite board game? Let’s bring it to life! We will explore a number of popular games and maybe even some newer ones. Join us for challenges that test your agility, brains, and creativity at camp, in the pool and around town!

Let’s practice our best lion roar and wolf howl! This week we will celebrate all living things. We will learn about how we can help animals, explore different animals big & small and learn what makes them unique!

Around the World in 5 Days

Calling all world travelers! We will be visiting different countries in Asia, Europe, Australia, South America and Africa, bringing new snacks, games and crafts back to camp for a world of fun!

Grab your favourite shades and sunscreen for a week full of water fun! We will explore the world under the sea and live life like a pirate. End the week with a treasure hunt adventure!

This week is full of surprises as we end the summer with a bang! Play all of your favourite camp games with new and old friends and enjoy the final days of summer.

Important Camp Information

  • Drop-off & Pickup

Children must be signed in and out daily by approved guardian or caregiver. Only adults listed will be permitted to pick-up children. Please notify the Camp Coordinator if this changes throughout the day.

  • What to Bring

Please bring; Peanut-free lunch and snacks for each day, reusable water bottle, bathing suit and towel, change of clothes (highly recommended for Munchkins), and sunscreen.

  • Medical Information

We ask that all medical information be provided at the time of registration on the Participant Information Sheet.

  • Safe Arrival Program

Safety is our number one priority at camp! If you know your child will be late or absent, please notify the Camp Coordinator. Every absent camper will receive a phone call home daily if they are absent (without notification).

  • Age Requirements & Supervision

Campers must be 4 years of age by their first day of camp. All participants must be fully toilet trained by the start of camp. Maximum participant numbers are determined by the number of staff, based on ratios. We adhere and do not make exceptions to these numbers, to ensure the safe supervision of our program. The Municipality of Kincardine Summer Day Camp follows High Five's, Principles of Health Child Development safety and supervision standards.

  • Swimming

All campers enjoy 1 hour of swimming three times per week. Swim times/dates are subject to change and/or cancellations.
