At the Municipality of Kincardine Summer Day Camp. Experience a wide variety of camp activities throughout the whole summer including; off-site activities, crafts, games, swimming, skating and special guests. All staff are High Five & First Aid Trained. Registration is open.

There are only weekly rates, no daily.

Four Day Week (Holiday Monday weeks only): $121.00

Five Day Weeks: $150.00

Family Rate (three or more children per family): Full rate for first two children, $50.00 per additional child.

Offsite field trip weeks have additional costs:

Week three: The trip will be to Funvilla in Kitchener $30

Week seven: The trip will be to Grand Bend to see Jack and the Beanstalk at the Huron County Playhouse $35

We do require a 25% non-refundable deposit per camper/ per week

50% Cancellation fee will be charged if cancellation notification is not received within 7 days prior to first day of camp week by 4:30pm. For trip weeks, cancellation notice must be received within 2 weeks prior to first day of camp week by 4:30pm. If we do not receive notification 50% cancellation fee plus additional cost of trip will be charged.  

Registration & Payment Options

All campers must complete a Participant Information Form before attending Summer Day Camp. We accept weekly registrations only. If space is available after the start of each week, participants may be registered at a pro-rated rate.

Payment Options

Credit Card, Cash, Cheque and Debit is accepted in person or by phoning the Recreation office during office Hours. Cheque or Cash is accepted in the drop-box outside of regular Office Hours.

Full payment must be made at the time of registration, or with posted dated cheques dated two full weeks before the first day of camp your child will be attending. No exceptions will be made

Camper Spirit Week

Join us to kick off our first week of a fun filled summer! Show us your camp
spirit with goofy hates, represent your group in wacky relays, tug O war and all
our classic camp games and songs. Summer adventures are better with friends
so start your summer making new ones

Week Two

July 8-12


Sports Nut!

Only requirement is to like playing games and having fun! Campers will learn
the basics of a new sport each day and use their skills in friendly games. Sport
themes will be some of the fan favourites like baseball, soccer, basketball and
some that you will be surprised to see on the roster. We may even get some
visits from local sports hero's!

Week Three

Offsite Trip

Kincardine's Got Talent!

Get ready to show off your talent whether it be at Survivor inspired games,
obstacle courses, participating in a Tough Mudder designed by our very own
camp leaders or in our end of the week talent show! We're hoping to find our
next big star! Campers will participate in an offsite trip this week!

The trip will be to Funvilla in Kitchener to enjoy several hours of trampoline fun, climbing structure and wall climbing at this new activity center. Please see their web sites for more information at Campers need to bring their own grip socks.

Disney Week

Prepare for a magical week of all things DISNEY! Campers will be tested on their
Disney knowledge all while dressed up as their favourite Disney character. You
don’t want to miss this!

Week Five

July 29- August 2


Hero's Week

Join local heroes for a week of crime fighting, firefighting, and so much more! Don't forget to wear your cape!

Week Six- Four Day Week

August 6-9



Outdoor Explorers Week

Explore different time periods, activities, you name it! Campers will participate
in a hunt for gold, experience life underwater! Don’t forget to pack your
explorers kit!

Offsite Trip

To The Extreme

Are you ready to experience a week of total experience and thrilling adventures?
Leaders will guide campers through obstacle courses, mission impossible
themed adventures, learn skills and participate in extreme sports and travel
offsite to an exciting destination.

Story Book Fantasy Island

Storybooks come alive this week. Activities will feature your favourite characters
from Dr.Seuss, Harry Potter, Magic Treehouse, Robert Munch and much, much more!

Week Nine

This week is all about celebrating! Every day is a new holiday and it’s time to
celebrate. Campers will have the opportunity to celebrate various holidays and
days of celebrations including; egg hunts, birthdays, and Halloween!

Important Camp Information

  • Drop-off & Pickup

Children must be signed in and out daily by approved guardian or caregiver. Only adults listed will be permitted to pick-up children. Please notify the Camp Coordinator if this changes throughout the day.

  • What to Bring

Please bring; Peanut-free lunch and snacks for each day, reusable water bottle, bathing suit and towel, change of clothes (highly recommended for Munchkins), and sunscreen.

  • Medical Information

We ask that all medical information be provided at the time of registration on the Participant Information Sheet.

  • Safe Arrival Program

Safety is our number one priority at camp! If you know your child will be late or absent, please notify the Camp Coordinator. Every absent camper will receive a phone call home daily if they are absent (without notification).

  • Age Requirements & Supervision

Campers must be 4 years of age by their first day of camp. All participants must be fully toilet trained by the start of camp. Maximum participant numbers are determined by the number of staff, based on ratios. We adhere and do not make exceptions

to these numbers, to ensure the safe supervision of our program. The Municipality of Kincardine Summer Day Camp follows High Five's, Principles of Health Child Development safety and supervision standards.

  • Swimming

All campers enjoy 1 hour of swimming three times per week. Swim times/dates are subject to change and/or cancellations.
