 What to Expect when visiting Municipal Facilities 

Davidson Centre & Tiverton Sports Centre

  • Facilities will reopen their doors at 50% capacity for pool, arena, walking track, health club, fitness classes, etc
  • Patrons can continue to expect to follow Public Health directives, including, but not limited to; physical distancing when possible, self screening for symptoms, and properly wearing a face covering/mask when possible, unless exempt under the legislation.  
  • Patrons should delay their visit to these facilities if they are experiencing symptoms such as fever, new cough, shortness of breath or sore throat, have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days and have been advised to quarantine or have been in close contact with a person with a confirmed or probable case of Covid-19.
  • A COVID screening questionnaire is required for everyone entering a recreation facility – available at the facility or online(to be completed no earlier than up to 24 hours prior to coming to the facility; please screenshot the green check mark at the end to show the attendant);
    • The enhanced Ontario vaccine certificate with QR code is required for everyone who is 12 years and older to enter the facility.  Parents are to be prepared to show their QR code certificate in either the paper or electronic format.  If vaccine documentation does not have the QR code, patrons will not be allowed entry into these facilities.
    • The arenas will re-open to our user groups, parent and child skates, huff n puff, and adult and senior skates. We look forward to seeing our hockey and skating club participants and spectators back as they complete their seasons.  Users must not arrive any earlier than 30 minutes prior to rental time.
    • The pool will re-open for lane swims, public swims, swimming lessons and aquafit.  Group swimming lessons will begin the week of February 14th. There are some spaces still available for these swimming lessons.
    • The health club will re-open, and participants will be required to pre-register for a specific block of time as numbers are limited per block.
    • Programs including landfit, pickleball, adult volleyball and third party user group programs using our gymnasium may also resume with capacity limits.
    • The walking track will also be open with designated times, capacity limits and reservations required.
    • Participants for all programs, including Health Club users, must enter through the main entrance (Entrance A) at the front of the building. Users must not arrive any earlier than 30 minutes prior to rental time.
    • Pre-registration for programs is required for all programs including those that have memberships. Participants can register through our online registration system here: https://ca.apm.activecommunities.com/kincardine

It can be filled for you at the time of arrival by staff

It is available online for you to fill online or on your mobile device (no more than up to 24 hours prior to coming to the facility) Please screenshot the green check mark at the end to show the attendant.
