Launched in 2020 to support our local businesses and provide a safe space for pedestrians and patrons of the downtown, the Promenade on Queen will return in 2022, commencing every Sunday, starting July 10, 2022  through to August 28, 2022 from 10am-4pm.

The Promenade on Queen restricts vehicle traffic on Queen Street in downtown Kincardine from Durham Market North to Lambton Street.

This allows downtown businesses within the closure area, an opportunity to display products outdoors, local artesians to display their goods and restaurants to expand their outdoor patios. It also provides an opportunity to promote physical distancing for those walking through the closure area on days that are typically busier during the summer months.
