COVID19 UPDATE: Under current provincial lockdown measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, indoor recreation facilities are closed until at least February 12th 2021. This includes the Davidson Centre and Tiverton Sport Centre, including arenas, gymnasiums, indoor walking track and swimming pool.
The Davidson Centre is currently closed. Recreation programs, the Walking track, Land fit classes, Aqua fit classes, lane swims, private swim lessons, Adult Skating, Huff & Puff 55+ pick up Hockey, Parent & Child skates and Pickleball may reopen after the lock down.
All participants are required to book in advance. Reservations will open starting 7am Mondays for the following week.

Cancellation Policy & Withdrawing from programs |
Cancelling for Programs: A twenty-four hour cancellation notice will be required to receive a full refund. Any time after will require a doctors note. This allows time sufficient time for any emergencies that may come up and time for wait listed participants to reserve a spot. You can withdraw yourself from a program online if it is more than 24 hours in advance by going to activenet, to to my account, historical transaction list, click withdraw and check out your cart.
Cancelling for facility bookings (Ice & Rooms): Cancellations & Refunds – When cancelling a facility rental or program registration you must notify the Davidson Centre in writing. A full refund will be given if cancellation is done 7 days prior to program start date or facility rental date. If the cancellation occurs after the 7 day period, then an administrative fee of 25% of the program cost or facility rental will be applied.

Health Club Procedures |

This allows time sufficient time for any emergencies that may come up and time for waitlisted participants to reserve a spot.
Step 4: What to expect upon Arrival at The Davidson Centre Health Club - Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your reservation - Masks are mandatory upon entrance and exit of the health club (it is not expected to wear a mask during your workout). - Enter through the K entrance. Line up outside behind the pink spray painted lines. The health club attendant will acknowledge when it is safe to proceed. - Proceed to health screening - If you responded to “no” to all health screening questions proceed to the Customer Service Desk to check-in. - Once customers have successfully checked in, outdoor footwear and attire must be removed and placed in the designated area
Step 5: Rules and Game Time: - Only customers who have reserved a block and have checked in at Customer Service are permitted to use the health club facility. - Spots are available on a first come, first serve. - Maximum capacity for Phase one is 10 customers. - Arrive to the health club in your fitness attire, changerooms and showers remain closed. Washrooms will be available. - All users are expected to disinfect equipment after use. Upon arrival, a personal disinfectant spray will be provided to each user. Return the disinfectant at the drop off centre in the health club to be sanitized and refilled - Limited cardio machines will be available to ensure physical distancing. - Day use lockers are not available, those who have registered for a locker may continue to use it during their reserved time. Questions or concerns about lockers please contact poolsupervisor@Kincardine.ca - Yoga mats will not be available, it is recommended users bring their own mats. - The water fountain is unavailable, customers are encouraged to bring their own water bottles and not to share with other gym users. - Wear a mask upon entering the health club facility, when you have been successfully checked in, masks may be removed. Upon exiting the health club, masks must be worn. - When the block time is complete, participants are asked to gather their belongings and exit through the L exit in a timely manner.

All rentals must be booked in advance. A pre-requisite for bookings is the signing (virtually) of a waiver. The waiver will contain the following information: 1. The name of the party booking the ice 2. The renter will keep records of all attendees 3. All attendees must take the provincial Covid-19 self assessment found at https://covid- 19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/ and must be considered to have no risks to take part. 4. Renter agrees to abide by all Procedure set out in this document. Ice bookings will be a minimum of 1 hour with the understanding that the actual ice time will be 50 minutes to accommodate a 10-minute flood. The maximum booking shall be 90 minutes with 80 minutes on ice allowing for a 10-minute flood.

All users must arrive in full ice attire except for skates, gloves and helmet (and pads for goalies). Dressing in the parking lot is not permitted and a minimum physical distance of 2 meters must be observed.
Subject to Health Unit or MOK by-laws, all people entering the facility MUST always wear face coverings. Ice users may only remove the face covering immediately prior to entering the ice surface. No spitting or blowing the nose without a tissue is permitted anywhere in the facility.
The maximum number of people permitted in the ice area (Ice pad, players benches, penalty benches, timekeepers box) is 50 but is subject to the Province of Ontario restrictions. The renter must ensure that all participants on the ice are wearing skates, helmet and gloves. The renter must supply their own first aid kit.
No spectators are permitted. One parent or guardian is permitted for each attendee under the age of 18. Parents/guardians are permitted in the north and south ends of the arena depending on the side the renters are using. If renters are using the west side, parents/guardians are only permitted on the south end. If renters are using the east side, parents/guardians are only permitted on the north end. There will not be a seating area and the parents/guardians and must maintain a minimum distance of 2 meters from each other.
The side being used will alternate between rentals to allow for cleaning and disinfecting. The west side access is the side of change rooms 2-6. The east side access is the side of change rooms 8 and 9. The dressing rooms will not be available for use.
Players may only carry a stick, helmet and water bottle (no other food or drink is permitted). The water bottle must be clearly labelled and filled prior to entry to the facility. Water filling stations will NOT be available for use.
All other equipment (pucks, pylons, etc) are the responsibility of the renter and will not be provided by the MOK.
Upon arrival, players must be escorted to their side by the renter or representative. There will be stations available where skates, gloves and helmets can be worn. Any article of non-ice related clothing must be kept at the station while on the ice. Renters are strongly encouraged to bring and use hand sanitizer.
While on the ice, all participants must maintain physical distancing (except for a medical emergency). Water bottles must be spaced at least 2m apart. Washroom use is limited to emergencies for participants. Scrimmages and game play is permitted but body checking is prohibited and any body contact must be avoided.
Once the rental is over, all participants must exit the ice immediately, change out of skates and exit the facility immediately. No access is permitted to any other area of the facility.
The directions of MOK staff must be followed.
If there is any violation of these policies, the rental shall cease immediately, and all participants will be asked to leave. No refunds or credits will be given, and future bookings may be cancelled. |

If participants are using change room 4 and 5, parents are permitted in the middle row. If participants are using the change rooms 5 or 6, parents are permitted on the bottom row. Parents/guardians and must maintain a minimum distance of 2 meters from each other. The warm viewing area is reserved for parents waiting for kids who have just completed their ice time but can be used by others ONLY when the group finished their ice rental have vacated the area.
Players using change rooms 1 and 2 must exit via the door outside change room 1. All other players exit the building via the east exit leading to the meeting room.
Player water bottles must be clearly labelled and filled prior to entry to the facility. Water filling stations will NOT be available for use. All other equipment (pucks, pylons, etc) are the responsibility of the renter and will not be provided by the MOK.

Entering the pool Area - All swimmers must shower with soap and water before entering the pool deck. Customers will not be permitted into the pool otherwise. Only three swimmers in the shower area at one time, please use the floor decals to maintain social distancing. - Swimmers will enter the pool deck via their designated changeroom (men’s or women’s) with their belongings. Swimmers will not be permitted to return to the changeroom they entered from. - Pool staff will meet you at the deck entry and assign you a lane. - Each lane will have a chair for you to place your belongings on and a flutter board to borrow. - Lifeguards will blow their whistles to indicate the swim is over, please exit from the shallow end, collect your items, including your used flutter board and exit the deck using the family changeroom. Swimmers must walk clockwise toward the exit
Exiting the pool area - Before entering the family changeroom, flutter boards must be dropped off in the designated area to be disinfected. - The use of the showers and washroom upon exiting the pool deck in the family changeroom will not be available. Swimmers are encouraged to change and exit quickly after their swim block. - When exiting the pool lobby, only four customers may use the area at one time, please use floor decals to maintain social distancing. - Equipment available for swimmers will be one flutter board.
