The Municipality of Kincardine will select committee members each new term of council or when a vacancy becomes available.

Current vacancies

The Kincardine Community Environment Committee is currently seeking (3) three committee members.  Candidates should have an interest or background in the following areas: environmental engineering, waste management, environmental education, energy efficiency, horticulture/agriculture, coastal management or watershed/conservation management.  

Applications are due by 4:00 pm May 27, 2019. 

 Eligibility

Interested citizens should meet the following criteria: 

  • Be a qualified elector of the Municipality of Kincardine
  • Previous experience on a board or committee is an advantage
  • An interest in the Committee area is an advantage

 Selection process
All appointments are made by Council. After appointments are finalized by By-Law, the Municipal Clerk will notify all applicants, informing them of the Council’s decision.
 Term of appointment
Unless otherwise legislated, the term of appointment coincides with the existing term of Council who appointed them.
