Temporary Relocation of Princes St. School Drop-off to Kincardine Ave. From Pentangore Row to Queen St.

The Municipality of Kincardine is proceeding with a municipal infrastructure project to replace an existing sanitary

forcemain that extends from the Huron Terrace Sewage Pumping Station (SPS) to the Kincardine Wastewater

Treatment Plant on Bruce Avenue. The project is being completed in phases, with the section of Princes Street

between Kincardine Ave. and Bruce Ave. commencing the week of September 8th, 2020. During the construction

period, access onto Princes Street from both Bruce Ave. and Kincardine Ave. will be restricted to local traffic

only.

IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE WORK ON PRINCES STREET IT IS NECESSARY TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE THE

EXISTING DROP-OFF AREA UNTIL CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETED. A TEMPORARY DROP-OFF AREA

WILL BE PROVIDED ON KINCARDINE AVE. (PENETANGORE ROW TO QUEEN STREET). SEE BELOW:

Temporary Closure - Princes Street School Drop-Off

For the safety of all students it is necessary to close the school drop-off area on Princes Street during the

construction period.

Temporary School Drop-Off – Kincardine Ave. from Penetangore ROW to Queen Street

September 10, 2020 to October 30, 2020

During the closure of the drop-off on Princes Street a temporary drop-off area for students will be provided on

Kincardine Ave. from Queen St. to Penetangore ROW. The drop-off will be located on the south side (east bound

lane) of Kincardine Ave as shown on the attached map.

DURING THE PERIOD THAT THE TEMPORARY SCHOOL DROP-OFF IS IN PLACE, PARKING ON

KINCARDINE AVE. (FROM PENETANGORE ROW TO QUEEN STREET) WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED FOR

STUDENT DROP-OFF PURPOSES (15 MIN. MAXIMUM).
