Public Meeting- Municipality of Kincardine Retail Business Holiday By-law

 The Municipality of Kincardine will be considering an amendment to By-law No. 2012 – 086, the Retail Business Holiday (2012) By-law at their October 14, 2020 Council Meeting. 

The purpose of this by-law amendment is to expand the designated area to which the By-law applies, to include a business at 61 Main Street, Tiverton. The current By-law allows retail businesses located in the designated area of the Municipality to open on the following statutory holidays if they wish: 

  • • New Year’s Day 
  • • Family Day 
  • • Good Friday 
  • • Easter Sunday 
  • • Victoria Day 
  • • Canada Day 
  • • Labour Day 
  • • Thanksgiving Day 

 

A copy of the current by-law and a map outlining the changes to expand the designated area is available on the municipal website www.kincardine.ca. 

Any person may attend the Public Meeting and/or make written or verbal representations in respect of the proposed by-law.
