Voter Information Letters Sent for Municipal and School Board Election 2022

KINCARDINE, ON – The Municipality of Kincardine’s Voter Information Letters are in the mail for eligible electors currently on the Voters’ List for the upcoming municipal and school board election.

These letters contain the elector’s unique Voter ID and PIN, along with detailed instructions on how to cast their ballot by internet or telephone. There are no paper ballots for this election and all votes must be cast by internet or telephone.

Electors should keep their letters in a secure location until voting opens on October 17, 2022, at 9 a.m. They will then have until October 24, 2022, at 8 p.m. to cast their ballot by the internet or telephone.

If you have not received your Voter Information Letter by October 11, 2022, please contact the Voter Help Desk at 519-396-3468 ext. 7113 or by e-mail to confirm that you are on the Voters’ List.

If you would like to register to vote or get more information about casting your ballot by internet or telephone, visit one of the upcoming Voter Registration and Information Sessions:

Tuesday October 11^th, 2022

• 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the Kincardine Centre for the Arts, 707 Queen Street in Kincardine
• 1 – 3 p.m. at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, 6 McKay Street in Tiverton

Staff will be available to assist with confirming or registering eligible voters, as well as answering questions about the telephone and internet voting process.

The Voter Help Desk & Revision Centre will be open at the Municipal Office, 1475 Concession 5 during regular office hours (excluding holidays) from now until the start of the voting period.
Additional Voter Help and Revision Centre hours include:

• Saturday, October 8^th – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Monday, October 17^th – 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, October 18^th through Friday, October 21^st – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Saturday, October 22^nd – 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Sunday, October 23^rd – 12 – 4 p.m.
• Monday, October 24^th – 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
