Phase 3 Roadmap to Reopening - Municipality of Kincardine Sports and Recreation Facilities

Posted On Thursday July 15, 2021

The Ontario Government announced that the Province will move into Step 3 of the re-opening plan on July 16, 2021. This will permit the re-opening of indoor sports and recreational fitness facilities subject to a maximum 50 percent capacity of the indoor space, with physical distancing and other restrictions in effect including the active screening of all those that enter the facility for programs.

Staff will ensure that Public Health directives are followed by patrons which include screening, physical distancing and the wearing of face masks. The public should delay their visit if they are experiencing symptoms such as new cough, shortness of breath or sore throat, fever, have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days or have been in close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19.

As the Davidson Centre is hosting a Vaccination Clinic July 16th along with the running of our day camp program, the re-opening date for the health club, aquatics programs as well as the indoor walking track will be Monday, July 19, 2021.

Pre-registration continues for all swim programs, health club blocks as well as the indoor walking track. The public will be able to register for the above programming on our Active Net Registration Software effective Friday, July 16th at 7am at www.kincardine.ca.
