New Digital Service Squad Member offers Support to Businesses in the Municipality of Kincardine

KINCARDINE, ON – The Municipality of Kincardine, in partnership with the Township of Huron-Kinloss, are pleased to welcome Digital Service Squad (DSS) Member Luke Price. Over the next 8 months, Luke is available to help brick-and-mortar small businesses in the municipality with digital adaptations.

Local businesses looking to improve their online presence can reach out to Luke and apply for a $2,500 Digital Transformation Grant to set-up and maintain:

  • Social media;
  • New or improved website;
  • Set-up a digital storefront / e-commerce and more!

“The Digital Transformation Grant is a great funding program to support local small businesses with their online presence.” said Cherie Leslie, Community Economic Development Coordinator for the Municipality of Kincardine. “We are excited to have Luke Price join us as the new DSS. His experience with digital platforms and knowledge of the Digital Mainstreet Program will make the application process quick and easy for our local businesses.”

The DSS position is fully funded through Digital Main Street’s Ontario Grants Program (OGP), which is supported through investment from the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade and administered by the Ontario BIA Association.
