Municipal Alcohol Policy, Recreation and Community Programs-2022-07
The Municipal Alcohol Policy (MAP) has been revised to reflect current Industry Standards. Council approved the amended Municipal Alcohol Policy GG.1.6 as presented in Report, Recreation and Community Programs-2022-07.
Acceptable Use of Information Technology Policy, Human Resources-2022-09
The Municipality of Kincardine continually reviews and updates workplace policies to ensure relevancy and compliance with legislative requirements. The Municipality has created an updated Acceptable Use of Information Technology policy to provide clear direction for employees and to include the requirements related to Electronic Monitoring of Employees.
Council approved the Acceptable Use of Information Technology Policy as presented and repealed Sections 47 - 50 from By-Law No. 2020-023 Consolidated Human Resources Policy Manual (2020).
Closed Session
Mayor Glover reported that a closed meeting had been held for the purpose of considering advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communication necessary for that purpose (Restricted Acts during ‘Lame Duck’ period regarding Municipal Water Reserve Fund and Healthcare Reserve Fund). Direction to Staff was given to provide this advice in open at the October 12, 2022, Committee of the Whole meeting.
